Sandhill Crane Wine & Wool

I'm so excited about Saturday!

Sandhill Crane Winery is having their 2rd annual Wine & Wool festival. Last year, I had a great time buying fiber & bottles of wine.It rained while we were there, but that didn't stop us from having fun! We spent time under the tent sampling yummy wines and talking. A friend of mine had a booth last year. It's too bad she won't be able to make it this time around. I've put away money last time I got paid, so I can buy some goodies! I'm lucky to be carpooling with two great girls I know from my local knit group.

If your in the Jackson Michigan area, stop by! It's Free admission!!!

These just started growing next to the front door. I didn't have the heart to cut them down.

Too pretty & the spiders love em!

Made some fridge pickles last night.
No recipe... hope they turn out.

4thI

We had a great holiday weekend.
Went to Kneff Lake to swim
Canoed the Au Sable River
Tripped in the woods
Picked wild blueberries

So many flies this year.

I am happy to be home, but I do miss it up there.

Last night we walked the neighborhood and watched the fireworks over the freeway.
This morning I pulled 34 garlic plants!
Time to plant some beans in their place!
